A special moment for Masquerade Theatre and the future of the historic Capitol Theatre! 🎭✨

Masquerade Theatre recently received a $2,500 Spark Good Local Grant from the Union City Walmart Supercenter to help support renovation efforts, community programming, and future performing arts opportunities in Northwest Tennessee.

Pictured (from left): Allison Butner, President of The Masquerade Theatre Board of Directors; David Harris, Manager of Walmart in Union City; and Delinda Scarborough, Masquerade Theatre Board Member.

Thank you to Walmart Union City for investing in the arts and our community.

How about this blast from the past!

Zoom in on the utility pole to see what was showing in May 1954 at The Capitol Theatre and The Waldron Theatre.

The Waldron Theatre was located where the Mosier & Jones building is on Division Street.

Also check out The Palace Hotel and the old cars!

Do you remember the Waldron Theatre or the Palace Hotel?

🚨🍿We need your help!!🚨🍿

Looking for the popcorn machine from The Capitol Theatre before it closed.

Anyone know anyone that might have some info and if this machine is still out there??

Even if someone just has a picture of it!

Or any other Capitol Theatre memorabilia!

Take a look at what was showing at The Capitol Theatre 99 years ago!

What movie would you like to see when the newly renovated Capitol Theatre reopens??
